Travel Day 1

Saying goodbye is always hard, and I find saying see you later makes it a bit easier... But I know that there are many adventures to behold.

It was very hard going to the airport and not having my 2 brothers there, but I had just seen them off for their mission trip to Duluth and I know and trust that they are where God wants them to be.

I have never been on a flight that was longer than 4 hours, so my 8.5 hour flight to Germany on an older plane was going to be something new. Thankfully I sat between two fun people one was from Serbia and the other from the states about to go on some sort of race that you use a map for to find these pendants or something like that. It sounded like an amazing race against the clock sort of deal.

i'm on my way; estoy de camino

I have a ticket to South Africa!

I will be starting classes one week late, but I know that there must be a reason for me being here or for me not being there during this time. 2 huge blessings about going late was that I was able to spend time with my sister on her 18th birthday, and that I was able to see my brothers off to their first mission trip.

I leave tommorrow (wednesday) and will be arriving on friday morning in South Africa :D I am going with a one way ticket, trusting that God will provide in his timing. Who knows, maybe I am supposed to stay in Africa longer than I have planned.

Tengo mi tiquete a Sur Africa!

He is faithful

My bags are pretty much packed, they are at my door. I have faith that there will be more to report later today.

I went through a hard process of obsessing over tickets looking for one I can afford to make it to south africa by monday, but I know that I just need to let go, and let God work.
