Exciting News

I just recieved my study permit for South Africa in the mail!

There were some uncertaintiesas to whether I would get it in time because the website showed 2 different amounts of time needed to process one being 8 weeks, the other being 10 days (the time that I went by) but it arrived after a week.-

Trusting God is sometimes hard for me to do, but seeing His faithfulness time and time again never ceases to amaze me.

I have most of my room and bag packed, now just waiting for money for my plane ticket, transportation for airport to the base, and my first payment for my school (which would be around $2,855) and I am on my way to South Africa!

My Vision

I believe that God can do anything, but am honored that He has chosen me to be His vessel. He has given me a mouth to share of His unfailing love, feet to go to bear witness to Him to all ends of the earth, and hands to comfort and heal. God has shown me His mercy and His Compassion, and this is something that I want to share with the Nations.

I believe that the Lord has given me a passion to love people and show them God's love through medicine. I believe in caring for the whole man, and not only his soul. Jesus came and he washed his disciple’s feet, healed the lame and made the blind see, both physically and spiritually.

“He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.” Isaiah 61:1

“ to open the eyes that are blind, to free the captives from prison, and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.” Isaiah 42:7

So I promised myself that I wouldn't start this blong until I finished my last one (http://www.tashapuravida.blogspot.com/) but I gave in. I am so excited for this new journey in my life. It has been my desire to go anywhere on the continent of Africa since I was a fourth grade, and it is finally coming true!
